Booked together, the four rooms become a house: its own entrance off the drive, a private lounge, and a deck that looks into the canopy. Two-night minimum, year round.
At eight guests that is from $188 each a night. Nobody is queueing for a bathroom — every room has its own, with a double spa bath.
Your own entrance
The wing opens off its own side of the drive. Once the door closes behind you there is no one to pass in a corridor.
The private lounge
The Great Room, with a dining table, fireside seating for eight and Bluetooth audio. No kitchen — bring dinner back from Orewa, or eat out.
The deck
Full width, facing the canopy, with an outdoor table. Best at dusk when the kererū come in.
Four hampers
One per room on arrival — local goods, breakfast on your own hours.
Parking for four cars. Off-street on gravel, a few steps from the door, with nobody blocked in at 6am.
Clubs and wet gear. Storage in the entry for clubs and shoes, and a drying space for anything that came back off Wainui Golf Course wet.

Golf groups are exactly who the wing suits: clubs stay in the entry, wet gear dries, cars sit outside the door, and the first tee is a two-minute drive. Green fees at Wainui Golf Course are open to visitors, no membership needed.

A 50% deposit confirms your Whole-Wing booking, with the balance due a week before arrival.
Cancel at least 5 days before arrival for a full refund. Within 5 days of arrival the deposit is kept, and cancellations within 24 hours of check-in are non-refundable.
The wing is a place to sleep and gather — not a venue for on-site weddings, receptions, marquees or catered events. Wedding parties are very welcome to stay: with its own entrance and lounge it works well for bridal-party prep, out-of-town family, or the nights either side of a wedding nearby.
